Eglée de Bure is a creative director, writer, editor, brand builder and cultural connector at the intersection of luxury, fashion and street culture – in both media and business.

In the 1990s, she was among the first in France to cover the rise of hip-hop, interviewing Jay Z, Kanye West and Beyoncé before they became household names. In the 2000s, as an editor at Numéro, she pioneered a new breed of magazines that forecasted the future of visual culture.

Eglée then moved to New York to develop Tory Burch's editorial strategy for its international expansion. In 2017, she was appointed global head of brand culture and communications at Chanel to strengthen the image difference and vitality of the brand.
